Julian Assange has been sentenced to 50 weeks in prison for skipping bail in the UK while awaiting extradition to Sweden on sexual assault allegations in 2012. WikiLeaks has described his sentence as 'vindictive' and also said it was concerned over the upcoming hearing on his possible extradition to the United States.
In an interview with Sputnik Dragana Trifkovic, a think tank head, shared her thoughts on Assange's sentencing and his chances of being extradited and tried in the US.

Digital economy is the term that emerged in the nineties of the 20th century as a revolutionary idea of how the internet could change the business. It is defined as an economy based on digital technologies, including digital communications networks (the Internet, private value-added networks, etc.) computers, software and other related information technologies. The Ukrainian oligarchic system was so intertwined with politics that even the intervention of the West, which it identified five years ago, could not remedy the situation, told the director of the Serbian Center for Geostrategic Expertise Dragana Trifkovic in an exclusive commentary to News Front.
“Unfortunately, Ukraine is in the process of disintegration, and the whole system depends on the oligarchs who finance the policy. They are not guided by the interests of the people, but by personal success. In such conditions, it is almost impossible to stop the connection of politics with crime and fight corruption, which causes great damage, ”she said, noting that even the West, interfering in the internal affairs of Ukraine, “was unable to solve the problems” and only “aggravated the situation, pushing country to the abyss”.

На иницијативу „Центра за геостратешке студије“ уз подршку г. Бошка Обрадовића и „Српског покрета Двери“, захваљујући љубазности нашег домаћина чешког посланика г. Јаромира Кохличека у Европском парламенту је 28. новембра одржана конференција под називом „Косово и Метохија, европски случај насилне сецесије“. На конференцији је делегација из Србије у саставу: професор Слободан Самарџић- бивши министар за Косово и Метохију у Влади Србије, Драгана Трифковић- директор „Центра за геостратешке студије“ и председник Одбора за међународну сарадњу „Српског покрета Двери“ и Марија Јањушевић-народни посланик и члан Председништва „Српског покрета Двери“, имала прилике да поразговара са посланицима ЕУ о актуелној ситуацији на Косову и Метохији и да им изложи своје ставове о самој суштини конфликта као и да предложи решења. Велики допринос овом скупу дао је г. Жак Огар-бивши командант француских снага КФОР-а на Косову и Метохији, аутор књиге: „Европа је умрла у Приштини“.

Ladies and gentlemen, dear colleagues,
First and foremost, I would like to thank the European Parliament and especially Mr. Kohlíček for organizing this conference. The topic is more than up-to-date because there are pressures by the Western countries to resolve Kosovo's problem as soon as possible, but I am afraid that such an approach can only lead to a worse situation and to even more tensions. Especially now that there are increased tensions at the international level. Problems cannot be resolved by imposing violent and illegal solutions, and above all, it cannot lead to a permanent peace. Imposing violent solutions can only bring even greater violence, and we can clearly see it today in Kosovo.

Пре свега бих желела да се захвалим Европском парламенту, посебну господину Кохличеку на организовању ове конференције. Тема је више него актуелна јер постоје притисци од стране западних земаља да се проблем Косова реши што пре, али бојим се да такав приступ може само да доведе до још горе ситације и још већих тензија. Посебно сада када су на међународном нивоу повећане тензије. Било који проблем не може да се решава наметањем насилних и противзаконитих решења а понајмање може да доведе до трајног мира. Наметање насилних решења може само да донесе још веће насиље, и ми то данас можемо јасно да видимо на Косову.
