A Basic Academic Approach about International Systems of States and Security

We have to keep in mind that a term and notion of security usually implies a kind of sense of protection and safety from different possible harms coming from „outside“. Therefore, it can be generally acceptable and understandable that the states want to protect their own territories by expanding great resources in making their territorial safe. Security topics are of very different kinds, ranging from the causes of conflict between states to deterioration in the global climate or women’s rights in global politics.

The historical background of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict goes back to 1917 (the Balfour Declaration) and the establishment of the British protectorate over Palestine (the Palestine Mandate) after WWI with its provision for a national home for the Jews, although formally not to be at the expense of the local inhabitants – the Palestinians. Nevertheless, it became in practice the focal problem to keep an appropriate balance between these stipulations to be acceptable to both sides – the Jews and the Palestinians.

In October, I spent several weeks touring the western border areas of Russia, along the very line of separation with Ukraine. What is obvious, geographically speaking, is that the border does not exist. A vast expanse rich in Forest and very high quality soil, extends on both sides. The territory of present-day Ukraine was predominantly part of the Russian Empire, and after the collapse of this empire after the October Revolution, Lenin and the Bolsheviks drew Republican borders. The idea seems to have come up earlier. Beginning in 1917. the socialist revolutionary newspaper "the work of the people" called for the transformation of Russia into a federal state modeled on the United States.

Данас је јасније више него икада пре, шта је светски познати геополитачар Збигњев Бжежински мислио када је изговорио чувену реченицу: „Комунизам је готов, на реду је православље“. У овом тренутку jе кристално јасно да су православље и православни народи једини прави противници глобализма, и то из разлога што нико други нема адекватну алтернативу глобализацији.
Бжежински је схватио да Кина и земље муслиманског света нису у могућности да понуде нови светски морални пројекат. Због тога се указује на неопходност уништења сржи православне теологије, јер је једино православну теолошку мисао могуће повезати, са оним што је Бжежински у свом вокабулару називао глобализацијом.

Dragana Trifkovic: for most of the Islamic world, Kosovo is Serbia

The problem with Kosovo and Metohija is an issue of the greatest state and national interest for Serbia. He is directly linked to the violation of international law and the actions of the NATO coalition of states, at a time when they were at the height of their power. Since then, international circumstances have changed drastically. Under today's conditions, the American project for Kosovo's independence is unsustainable. It is for this reason that the US is making extreme efforts to put an end to this issue and force the Serbian leadership through the "Brussels platform" to give up its territory.
